Dear all,
It has been over a week since we returned home - and the memories of our tour of Cochin and its vicinity are still vivid in our minds.
On the whole both Mohamed and myself were very pleased with all the arrangements and were glad about our decision to come to Kerala this year.
From my point of view - if my tour had been as follows (I think I would have saved about 4 hours of driving time on the road). Cochin to Munar, then onto Thekkady, Kumarakom, Allepy (houseboat) and the final destination as Mararikulum and then to Cochin airport for our return to Mumbai.
As far as transport is concerned - we had no problems at all. However, if the driver was a little better informed about places - especially a couple of choices of restaurants away from the resort which offer ethnic as well as european or oriental cuisine that would have been extremely helpful.
Otherwise - we were happy with all the arrangements - and hopefully we will do another trip soon - especially towards Trivandrum (cannot remember its new name).
At the end of the trip we enjoyed 3 days on the beach at Trivandrium. The hotels were fine. The weather was lovely and the people of South India is very nice.
Regards,
Fatima & Mohamed
